A relationship coaching app that thinks like a clinician

Most relationship apps are either a daily habit or a chatbot. Sameside is a method: assessment, formulation, plan, weekly sessions, measurement, and tools for the moment — with a privacy model no other app has.

The method

The coach reads from a structured knowledge base — the Gottman Method, Emotionally Focused Therapy, Integrative Behavioural Couple Therapy, attachment research, family systems, PREP, Nonviolent Communication and more — selected for your circle. It writes a case formulation before any plan, and every shared sentence passes a second check for verdicts, labels, off-limits topics and privacy.

The privacy model

Each person has their own login and their own answers. The coach is the only reader. The shared plan never says who said what. Boundaries you mark are checked out of every shared sentence. You can see exactly what the coach can see.

The measurement

The Couples Satisfaction Index, used in couple-therapy research, at the start, every week, and at a checkup. Three points is real change, and the coach lightens the load when a week goes badly.

Questions people ask

Is Sameside an AI?

The coach is AI, working from a clinical knowledge base with guardrails, a deterministic formulation and measurement. It is coaching, not therapy, and it says so.

Free to start: the assessment, personal plan, formulation, week one and the toolkit. Plus is £7.99 per person a month — £15.98 for a couple — or £69 once for the eight-week programme.
